Corsair CEO Predicts GTA 6 PC Release Date Amid Growing Speculation
Since the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), gaming enthusiasts worldwide have been eagerly awaiting further details about one of the most anticipated titles in video game history.

Take-Two Confirms Console Release for Fall 2025, But When Will GTA 6 Arrive on PC?
Since the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), gaming enthusiasts worldwide have been eagerly awaiting further details about one of the most anticipated titles in video game history. While Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, confirmed that GTA 6 will launch in Fall 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the PC release date remains a mystery, sparking numerous speculations among fans and industry experts.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Corsair CEO Andy Paul has shared his insights on the likely timeline for the GTA 6 PC release, indicating that PC gamers might not have to wait too long after the console launch.
Corsair CEO Suggests GTA 6 Could Launch on PC in Early 2026
During Corsair’s latest earnings call, CEO Andy Paul made a notable statement regarding GTA 6’s PC release. He speculated that the PC version of GTA 6 could arrive as early as the beginning of 2026.
"My understanding now is that it’s [GTA 6] going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC," Paul stated.
The CEO further added that Corsair is already seeing high demand from gamers looking to upgrade their systems in anticipation of GTA 6's release.
"Customers are lining up to buy components from us," Paul revealed, highlighting the strong enthusiasm surrounding GTA 6's upcoming launch.
If Paul's speculation turns out to be accurate, this would mark a much shorter gap between the console and PC releases compared to previous Rockstar titles.
Will GTA 6's PC Release Be Sooner Than Expected?
Historically, Rockstar Games has taken considerable time to release its major titles on PC after launching on consoles. For instance:
- GTA 5 was initially released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, but its PC version arrived nearly two years later in April 2015.
- Similarly, Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2018, with the PC version arriving over a year later in November 2019.
If GTA 6 indeed launches on PC in early 2026, this would signify one of the shortest delays between console and PC versions for a Rockstar game.
Rockstar and Take-Two Remain Silent on the GTA 6 PC Version
Despite Paul's comments, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not made any official statements regarding the PC release of GTA 6. However, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick recently acknowledged the growing importance of the PC gaming market, hinting that it remains a crucial platform for the company moving forward.
"I think the trend that you’d want to focus on is this increasing share of the market that is reflected in PC," Zelnick said in a previous interview.
This acknowledgment suggests that Take-Two and Rockstar Games recognize the growing demand for PC gaming and may be looking to reduce the traditional waiting period for PC gamers.
What Does This Mean for PC Gamers?
If Corsair’s CEO is correct, GTA 6 could be available on PC within months of the console release, rather than years. This is exciting news for PC gamers who have often had to wait significantly longer to experience Rockstar’s open-world masterpieces.
While this speculation does not replace an official announcement, it does indicate that hardware manufacturers and industry insiders are already preparing for a significant GTA 6-driven demand surge in PC upgrades and accessories.
