Irfan Sharif, the father of 10-year-old Sara Sharif, has admitted to taking "full responsibility" for his daughter’s death, confessing that he brutally beat her with a cricket bat, leading to her demise.

According to a report by Dawn, Irfan detailed the horrific abuse, stating that he had repeatedly beaten Sara with a cricket bat and a steel pipe, ultimately causing her death on August 8, 2023.

“I subjected Sara to severe beatings for weeks. Yes, she died because of me,” Sharif admitted.

Sara’s lifeless body was discovered on August 10, 2023, at her home in Woking, Surrey. A handwritten note by Irfan Sharif, found near her body, contained his confession:

“I am Irfan Sharif, and I killed my daughter by beating her. I swear I didn’t intend to kill her, but I lost control.”

Shocking Medical Findings

Medical reports presented in court revealed over 70 injuries on Sara’s body, including both internal and external wounds.

Pathologist Dr. Nathaniel Carey detailed gruesome injuries, including deep cuts, burns, abrasions, and bite marks. Sara had also been burned with hot water and an iron.

Heartbreaking Note

In his confession letter, Irfan expressed fear and regret, acknowledging that he would face consequences. He wrote, “I love you, Sara,” and requested, “Please bury her as a Muslim. I will return after the post-mortem is completed.”
