Ninja Gaiden 4: Ryu Returns with a New Ally
Ninja Gaiden 4, set to launch in Fall 2025, promises to deliver the intense, lightning-fast combat that fans have come to love. Co-developed by Team Ninja and Platinum Games (the creators of Bayonetta), this new installment introduces series protagonist Ryu Hayabusa alongside a new character, Yakumo, a member of the rival Raven clan.
Both Ryu and Yakumo will feature distinct movesets, combining the deep action gameplay of Ninja Gaiden with the flashy mechanics that Platinum Games is renowned for. According to game director Yuji Nakao, maintaining the series’ signature difficulty and challenge is a priority.
The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, giving fans of all platforms a chance to dive into this epic hack-and-slash adventure.
Ninja Gaiden 2: Black Remaster Now on Game Pass
As an added surprise for fans, Team Ninja also announced the release of Ninja Gaiden 2: Black, a remaster of the 2008 classic, now available on Game Pass. This remake, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, offers a significant visual overhaul, three new playable characters, and all the fast-paced action that made the original a fan favorite.
Ninja Gaiden’s long-standing relationship with Xbox continues to thrive, bringing nostalgic fans and newcomers together as they revisit one of the greatest action franchises in gaming history.
