Pakistani gamer Arslan Ash makes history with his 6th EVO title win in Las Vegas, beating Atif Butt in a thrilling Tekken 7 final.
LAS VEGAS, Aug 5 — Pakistani esports champion Arslan “Ash” Siddique made history once again by winning his sixth EVO title at the 2025 Evolution Championship Series (EVO) in Las Vegas, one of the world’s most prestigious fighting game events.
Held from August 1–3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the event featured elite players from around the globe competing in various titles. In Tekken 7, it was a grand final between two Pakistani powerhouses: Arslan Ash vs. Atif Butt, his former teammate and close rival.
A Battle Between Champions
In a high-stakes final, Arslan picked Nina Williams, while Atif went with Anna Williams characters who are sisters in the game. Their battle reflected the friendly but fierce rivalry between the two Pakistani stars.
Arslan emerged victorious after a tight set, securing his sixth EVO title a record that cements his place among the all-time greats in competitive Tekken.
“Feeling So Blessed”
“I’m feeling so blessed,” Arslan said after the win. “This title means everything. I want to thank my team, my country, and all my fans around the world.”
His Saudi-based team, Twisted Minds, celebrated the win, calling him the “undisputed GOAT of Tekken.”
EVO’s official social media also praised the performance, calling it “greatness on another level.”
A Historic Run
Arslan first became a global sensation in 2019, when he won both EVO Japan and EVO USA in the same year a rare feat. Since then, he has remained at the top, collecting more major titles including EVO Japan 2023, EVO 2024, and now EVO 2025.
His dominance has also put Pakistan's Tekken scene firmly on the global esports map.

The showdown between Arslan and Atif not only highlighted individual talent but also showcased the strength of Pakistan’s growing esports community.
