Government Maintains Petrol Price, Reduces Rates of Other Petroleum Products

On Sunday, the government announced that the price of petrol would remain unchanged at Rs 252.10 per liter. In contrast, the rates of all other petroleum products have been reduced, according to a statement from the Finance Ministry.

The price adjustment follows fluctuations in the international market over the past fortnight. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) made the necessary revisions, which will come into effect on December 16, 2024.

As part of the price revisions, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 3.05, from Rs 258.43 to Rs 255.38 per liter. The updated rates reflect the revised consumer prices for the upcoming fortnight.
