Renowned Pakistani actor and TV host Mishi Khan has spoken out against the disturbing trend of leaked private videos, a practice increasingly targeting influencers and TikTokers.
Known for her iconic roles in dramas like Uroosa, Ajaib Gher, and Boota from Toba Tek Singh, as well as her long-running tenure as a morning show host on Khyber TV, Khan expressed deep concern over the alarming rise in such incidents. She urged women to exercise caution when sharing personal content, even with trusted individuals.
“It’s extremely alarming,” Khan remarked. “I request all girls to stop sharing personal pictures or videos, regardless of the relationship status. Even if you’re engaged or about to get married, don’t fall into this trap.” She highlighted the devastating consequences many young women face, including blackmail and even suicide, after their private content is leaked.
Khan referenced recent cases, such as the leaked videos of a prominent TikToker and a girl from Gilgit Baltistan, underscoring the importance of safeguarding privacy. Her powerful message calls for greater societal respect and awareness, aiming to curb exploitation in the digital age.
