$100 Billion Satoshi Nakamoto Bitcoin Wallet Sparks New Speculation Amid Quantum Computing Threats

New York – The mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, has resurfaced as new blockchain data suggests that the rival crypto exchange Kraken may hold information about their identity. Meanwhile, concerns over quantum computing potentially unlocking inactive Bitcoin wallets have added another layer of intrigue to the Bitcoin saga.

Satoshi’s Wallets Linked to Kraken?

Coinbase director Conor Grogan sparked fresh debate after analyzing Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin wallets, estimating their value at over $100 billion.

"My best guess is that Satoshi was last active onchain in 2014 … He may have used a Canadian BTC exchange [and] Kraken may know the identity of Satoshi." – Conor Grogan

Grogan identified a Bitcoin address linked to CaVirtEx, a Canada-based exchange later acquired by Kraken in 2016. This raises speculation that Kraken co-founder Jesse Powell or others at the exchange may possess customer data linked to Satoshi.

Kraken responded cryptically, posting:

"We are all Satoshi."

A phrase often used in the Bitcoin community, implying that Satoshi's identity is irrelevant or should remain undiscovered.

Quantum Computing: A Threat to Satoshi’s $100 Billion Bitcoin Stockpile?

In a parallel development, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino has warned that advances in quantum computing could eventually hack inactive Bitcoin wallets, including those believed to belong to Satoshi Nakamoto.

"Any Bitcoin in lost wallets, including Satoshi (if not alive), will be hacked and put back in circulation." – Paolo Ardoino

However, Ardoino reassured that quantum-resistant addresses will be added to Bitcoin before any serious security threat arises.

New Data: More Wallets Linked to Satoshi Nakamoto

Blockchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence has recently identified an additional 22,000 Bitcoin addresses tied to Satoshi Nakamoto, bringing the estimated total Bitcoin balance in these wallets to 1,096,354 BTC.

As Bitcoin soars past $100,000, speculation continues over who truly controls these assets and whether Satoshi Nakamoto’s identity will ever be uncovered.
