Punjab Opens Applications for Temporary Teachers in Over 42,000 Schools

The School Education Department of Punjab has officially announced its recruitment drive for temporary teachers, with online applications now open starting today.

The recruitment initiative aims to address the shortage of educators in 42,000 schools across Punjab, with over 115,000 positions currently vacant. Selected candidates will be offered a four-month contract starting February 1 through May 31, with the potential for renewal after the summer break.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s or Graduate degree along with a professional teaching degree.
