PM Shehbaz Sharif: “Pakistan Will Avenge Every Drop of Blood Shed by Indian Brutality
PM Shehbaz Sharif promises to avenge martyrs after Indian missile attacks kill 31 civilians in AJK & Punjab. PAF responds by downing 5 Indian jets.

In a powerful and emotional address to the nation on Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made it unequivocally clear: Pakistan will not forget, nor forgive the unprovoked missile strikes carried out by India on May 7, which claimed the lives of at least 31 innocent civilians, including women and children, and injured 57 others across cities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Punjab.

Calling the attack a “cowardly act of state terrorism,” the premier said that India had made a “grave miscalculation” by underestimating the resolve of the Pakistani people and armed forces.
“Every drop of our martyrs’ blood will be avenged. India thought we would stay silent, but they will now face the consequences,” Shehbaz declared, as the nation watched with pride and fury.

Within hours of the aggression, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) responded with decisive force. In a swift and precise retaliation, PAF fighter jets intercepted and shot down five Indian combat aircraft, turning them into smoldering wreckage. The PM described this response as “a modern echo of MM Alam’s thunder”, reminding the enemy of Pakistan’s legendary air combat capabilities.
The prime minister paid special tribute to the youngest victim of the strike, seven-year-old Shaheed Irtaza Abbas, who was martyred in his home alongside his family.
“A tender flower withered away in the cruelty of the enemy’s fire. But his shahadat strengthens our resolve,” the PM said solemnly.
He praised the bravery and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces and saluted top military leadership, including General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, General Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Babar Sidhu, and Admiral Naveed Ashraf, reaffirming that 240 million Pakistanis stand united behind them.
Shehbaz also denounced Indian attempts to falsely blame Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack. Pakistan, being a peace-seeking nation, had already offered a transparent international probe, while India chose to respond with aggression instead of accountability.
The prime minister reinforced that Kashmir remains an unresolved international dispute, protected by UN resolutions, and no amount of Indian propaganda or military force can alter that reality.
He reminded the world that Pakistan has suffered immensely from terrorism, losing over 90,000 lives and enduring $152 billion in damages, yet the country never used terrorism as an excuse for unjust war.
“Let there be no doubt: we will defend our land, our people, and our dignity with everything we have,” Shehbaz concluded.
As Pakistan continues to mourn its martyrs, it also prepares with unity and strength — not just to respond, but to ensure such barbarism never happens again.
