Pakistan Exports Tractors to Tanzania
Pakistan achieves a trade milestone with the arrival of its first consignment of tractors in Tanzania, marking a significant step in expanding exports to East Africa.
ISLAMABAD/KARACHI: A significant milestone in Pakistan's trade relations with East Africa was achieved on Wednesday as the first consignment of Pakistani-made tractors arrived in Tanzania. According to an announcement from the commerce ministry, Masai Trekta Company Ltd has recently established its tractor distribution head office in Tanzania and will play a key role in distributing Pakistani ATS tractors throughout the country, with plans for expansion across the region.
The tractors were sourced from Pak-Tractors House, a prominent manufacturing company located in Lahore. This export initiative is anticipated to enhance Pakistan's export portfolio in East Africa and create opportunities for increased tractor exports to Tanzania and its neighboring countries.
