Khabib Nurmagomedov Removed from Frontier Airlines Flight After Seating Dispute

Retired UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was removed from a Frontier Airlines flight in Las Vegas following a dispute with airline staff over his seating in the exit row. The altercation at Harry Reid International Airport has raised questions about potential racial or national bias, as the MMA legend claimed he was mistreated despite agreeing to assist in the event of an emergency.

In a post on X, Nurmagomedov clarified, “I speak very decent English and agreed to assist, but the flight attendant insisted on removing me.” He shared that the incident resulted in him being “deplaned” and later boarding another airline to continue his journey.

Footage of the exchange, widely circulated online, shows a tense interaction in which the flight attendant is heard telling Nurmagomedov, “We cannot allow you to sit in the exit row.” Despite offering compliance and requesting fair treatment, the retired fighter was ultimately escorted off the plane.

Nurmagomedov, considered one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time with an undefeated 29-0 record, was reportedly traveling to California to support his teammates ahead of UFC 311. Frontier Airlines has yet to comment on the incident.
