The 29-year-old displayed consistent brilliance in both ODI and T20I formats, amassing eight half-centuries and excelling in the middle order with the bat. Erasmus was also a potent force with his off-break bowling, starting the year with an impressive five-wicket haul against Nepal and maintaining his form by taking crucial wickets throughout 2024.
Erasmus shone individually during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, hitting a half-century against Scotland and playing a match-winning role in a thrilling Super Over victory against Oman. His standout performance came in Namibia's match against Australia, where he fought valiantly, scoring 36 runs in a heavy team defeat.
With nearly identical records in both formats, Erasmus ended 2024 with 364 ODI runs at an average of 33.09, taking 18 wickets at 22.38 in 12 matches. In T20Is, he scored 363 runs at 33.00 and claimed 18 wickets at 13.61 in 13 games, as per ICC statistics.
One of his most memorable performances was against Scotland in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Group B fixture, where he scored a stunning 52 off 31 balls, leading Namibia to a competitive total of 155/9.
