Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan held a productive meeting with Azerbaijan's Minister for Economy, Mikayal Jabbarov, in Baku to enhance bilateral cooperation in investment and trade. The discussion marked a significant stride in strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

Aleem Khan invited Azerbaijan to consider participating in the privatization of major state-owned entities, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Utility Stores, Zarai Taraqiati Bank, and DISCOs. He also proposed Azerbaijan's involvement in the Karachi-to-Sukkur Motorway (M6) project, a vital infrastructure initiative connecting Pakistan's seaport to its economic hubs.

Mikayal Jabbarov welcomed the development of direct flights between Pakistan and Baku, which has positively impacted tourism between the two countries. Both leaders lauded the strong and friendly relations between their nations, expressing optimism about further enhancing economic partnerships in the future.
