Governor Orders Recruitment to Strengthen Judicial System in Quetta

Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhel has instructed the immediate recruitment of 18 magistrates to fill vacant positions in Quetta. This directive was made during a briefing on the ongoing cleanliness campaign and efforts to restore the city's former charm, attended by Quetta Division Commissioner Hamza Shafqat and Principal Secretary to the Governor Hashim Khan Ghilzai.

During the meeting, Governor Mandokhel highlighted the lack of coordination between key departments like MCQ, WASA, QDA, and QDP, which are essential for the success of the cleanliness initiative. He emphasized the need for improved interdepartmental cooperation and urged all stakeholders to work together to restore Quetta’s glory. The governor commended the commissioner’s team for their efforts and encouraged them to ensure that the benefits of these initiatives extend to the outskirts of the city.

Governor Mandokhel also stressed that the responsibility for cleanliness and restoration lies not only with the government but is a shared duty among all citizens. He called for a public awareness campaign led by the commissioner’s team to foster a change in citizens' mindset and behavior, particularly among shopkeepers. The governor urged all relevant authorities to collaborate and engage the public in maintaining cleanliness and restoring the city’s prestige.
