NA Speaker Urges Collective Action, of Unite for Children's Rights

On World Children's Day, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq highlighted the importance of collective responsibility in protecting children's rights. He emphasized that quality education, healthcare, and proper parenting are crucial for the overall development and well-being of children.

Sadiq reminded that Pakistan's Constitution guarantees fundamental rights for children, including protection, education, and healthcare. To strengthen the protection of these rights, the National Assembly established the Parliamentary Caucus on Child Rights (PCCR).

The Speaker called on various stakeholders, including educational institutions, civil society, and parents, to actively participate in promoting and safeguarding child rights. He reiterated that the Parliament of Pakistan remains committed to advancing child rights through a robust legal framework and effective measures.
