Tecno’s Starry Optical Fiber Tech Makes Phones Shine in Real-Time

Tecno has unveiled its innovative Starry Optical Fiber technology, which combines optical fibers and mini-LED lights to create a shimmering effect on the back panel of a modified Phantom V Flip 2. This concept is designed to offer a visually striking experience without compromising the phone’s functionality.

Innovative Design

The Starry Optical Fiber design is the result of a detailed process involving 30 manufacturing steps. In this intricate process, 150 ultra-thin optical fibers and 108 mini-LED lights are meticulously threaded together with UV adhesive. This creates a fabric-like structure, giving the phone a unique, shimmering aesthetic that sets it apart from traditional designs.
