Bushra Ansari gets emotional while discussing her sons-in-law

Veteran actress Bushra Ansari recently opened up in an emotional video on YouTube, discussing her personal frustrations with the practice of dowry and the treatment of wives by some men.

In the heartfelt video, Bushra expressed her disappointment with individuals who accept dowries but fail to treat their wives with respect. She referred to such men as "shameless" and shared her own experiences, revealing how she had given her daughters substantial dowries, including clothes, jewelry, furniture, and even apartments, in the hope that they would be respected in their marriages. However, she expressed feeling unappreciated, as the sons-in-law she treated like her own sons did not show gratitude for the support she had given them.

Bushra also spoke about the dowry system in different countries, particularly highlighting the laws in Saudi Arabia, where it is customary for the groom to provide his wife with a house as a form of security. She compared this to Pakistan, where in some rural areas, the groom is required to build a house for the bride before marriage. However, she pointed out that this practice is not universal.

The actress also raised concerns about the financial responsibility of divorced fathers. She criticized those who, after receiving large dowries, fail to support their children post-divorce, leaving the burden on the maternal grandparents. Though she did not specify whether her daughters had experienced divorce, Bushra hinted that, in some cases, children are being raised by their grandparents.

While social media users speculated about her daughters' marital status, Bushra refrained from confirming or denying any such details, instead focusing on the broader issue of financial responsibility and respect within marriages.
